MIDDLE SCHOOL The middle
school instruction is tailored to the individual student. Our
English program emphasizes the writing process, rich vocabulary
building, speech, drama and the reading of literary works. Social

archeology,
ancient civilizations, medieval Europe and Japan, the World Wars, all
intertwined with citizenship and map and globe skills. Science
explores the topics of Earth, Life and Physical Sciences. Math includes the teaching of Algebra to all eighth graders. Student
conduct research in all their subjects. The Judaic curriculum
includes daily prayer; Judaic law; weekly Torah portion; Mishnah; Talmud;
and Hebrew reading, writing, and conversation. As part of the
curriculum, all our middle school students have to fulfill a
community service requirement. The culmination of the middle
school experience is an
Israel Study Tour.
