Letter from the Leadership Team
Shalom and welcome to our website! Heritage Academy is a teacher-led school. Our leadership team is comprised of three educators: Lauren Life, 4th grade General Studies teacher for the past two years, Tali Edry, our veteran Judaic teacher and current Art teacher, and Karen Auerbach, our resource teacher. Lauren is the lead administrator, dedicating 100% of her work day to administrative responsibilities. Morah Tali and Karen each spend 25% of their time each week in administration; Tali coordinating the Judaic curriculum and Karen as the admissions director.
During the 2011-2012 school year, our staff dedicated many hours learning about Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective people. This current school year, we will be transforming our school culture and embracing the Leader in Me leadership philosophy in all areas of our building. Our children are the future . . . and Heritage Academy students will be equipped with leadership traits as they maneuver through their educational journey and beyond.
There is a renewed energy in our building and we invite you to visit. We are proud of the dual curriculum that is the foundation of a Heritage Academy education.
